Home improvement (disambiguation) → Home Improvement – The header Home Improvement already redirects to Home improvement (disambiguation) and all the entries (except one) listed upon the disambiguation page use uppercase "I". As for the putative WP:PRIMARYTOPIC with the lowercased "i" — "Home improvement" — it is not even the sole term for this type of activity — "Home renovation", which redirects to it, could serve equally well as the article's main header. The lowercase primary topic / uppercase dab page are exemplified by the frequently-referenced header Red meat / Red Meat or the still-active Saddle tramp / Saddle Tramp nomination at Talk:Saddle tramp (person)#Requested move 8 July 2024. If consensus were to prefer a separate Home improvement / Home renovation header and an uppercase Home Improvement (disambiguation) page with Home Improvement (TV series) as the primary topic, as exemplified by Iron maiden paired with Iron Maiden serving as the primary topic of the Iron Maiden (disambiguation) page on which all entries (except the one for the torture device) use an uppercase "M", I would support such an alternative option, which was not approved 20 months ago at Talk:Home Improvement (TV series)#Requested move 18 November 2022. — Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 14:42, 26 July 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. Oppose. I really fail to see what problem exists that we're trying to solve with this proposed move. If anything, perhaps Home Improvement should be retargeted to the primary topic rather than the dabpage; but that should be discussed at WP:RFD, not here. 162 etc. (talk) 18:00, 26 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose. While we have a typical community habit of capitalizing the title of a DAB page if all the entries in the page are capitalized, the actual primary topic (in the introductory line) is not capitalized. And as Necrothesp raised, doing this move doesn't actually serve a useful purpose. Also, our default on any capitalization question is to use lower-case (per MOS:CAPS and WP:NCCAPS) unless there's very compelling evidence that we should capitalize. But in the end I don't think the casing of this sort of navigational page really matters at all, either for readers or for any internal purposes, so we needn't bike-shed about it, and I won't be upset or anything if the RM succeeds. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 03:29, 14 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
