Accusation of plagiarism
[edit]While I can't condone edit warring, I do have to ask whether TyneGRPR isn't right to remove the accusation of plagiarism. It is factual and sourced, but is this actually due in the article? Are there other sources than the one noted in the article? Is there any follow-up to this? Cause if it's only the one source repeating the accusation from Jason Isbell, I for one would actually opt to remove it for now.

- Alright, thanks TenPoundHammer. Amalthea 08:25, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
Yes, thanks. I agreed it didn't belong when it was just referencing twitter, but think when sources like Billboard and Slate have picked it up, it is worth including. But we did need something of Bentley's response. In fact, perhaps we need to include the story Bentley referenced in his tweets about how the song was written. My guess is the lawyers are looking at the songs as we speak. 99.43.32.160 (talk) 14:40, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
Why was this section deleted? I was going to add this paraphrasing the sentence that says the more melodically similar two works are the more likely the later work will be found infringing. http://mcir.usc.edu/glossary/M-R/Pages/Melody.html Burnedfaceless (talk) 13:55, 18 July 2016 (UTC)
