Holy Spirit Movement versus Holy Spirit Movement Force

[edit]

According to the book Alice Lakwena and the Holy Spirits: War in Northern Uganda, 1985-97, Joseph Kony's Holy Spirit Movement (HSM) was different from Alice Auma's Holy Spirit Movement Force (HSMF). Should these two be seperated out into two entries? -- Thaths 19:19, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Are you sure? I admit to not having a copy of the book but I've read it several times. I'm pretty certain that the political movement under Lakwena was the Holy Spirit Movement (HSM) while the armed wing was called the Holy Spirit Mobile Force (HSMF - quite odd as, according to covention, it should be "Holy Spirit Army"). Neither of those was under the command of Kony, who came later, though who tried to get a place under the HSM before being firmly rejected. The early names for the Lord's Resistance Army is given in the first footnote of that article. - BT 14:30, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
