Mixed reality?
[edit]Multiple refs in this article call it augmented reality, and the CNN link even says "When Microsoft first unveiled a rough version of its augmented reality technology in 2015 — which the company insists on calling "mixed reality" — it was genuinely mind-blowing." Can we just call it 'augmented' instead of using this fake 'different' term of MS's? Malick78 (talk) 15:15, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
Article image is HoloLens 1
[edit]The article image is HoloLens 1, not HoloLens 2! They're quite different! 81.101.153.215 (talk) 00:41, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
Repeated addition of penny stock
[edit]There is an apparent effort to repeatedly add information about MicroVision, a penny stock, to exaggerate their importance and inflate their stock price. The sources lead to a dead link and to a blog. The blog does not indicate that MicroVision was an equal partner in developing HoloLens 2 and relies on a YouTube video. The book is copyrighted 2001, more than 15 years prior to development of HoloLens 2, and does not mention HoloLens 2. Furthermore, the chapter cited was written by a MicroVision employee.
For the mentioned reasons, I am deleting paragraphs related to MicroVision that are not reliably sourced or rely on original research. Please add such information only with sources that meet Wikipedia standards.
I may request page protection if additions are made that are not encyclopedic. Yammie2009 (talk) 06:37, 9 February 2023 (UTC)
