Biographical information?
[edit]I came here looking for information, birth date and place, career development, and I find an essay about a legacy. I don't know about her, but would love to read a bit more weighted and substantiated info. Can anyone help? Dorthonion (talk) 08:44, 26 July 2015 (UTC)
Why is there no reference to her relationship with Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits?
[edit]Evidently, the song "Romeo and Juliet" by Dire Straits was inspired by Holly's relationship with Knopfler.
This song was inspired by Mark Knopfler’s broken romance with Holly Vincent, who was the leader of the band Holly And The Italians. Some of the lyrics indicate that Knopfler felt she used him to boost her career…
The line, “Now you just say, oh Romeo, yeah, you know I used to have a scene with him,” came from an interview where Holly Vincent was quoted as saying:
What happened was that I had a scene with Mark Knopfler and it got to the point where he couldn’t handle it and we split up. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.55.60.166 (talk) 12:52, 28 September 2015 (UTC)

I propose that Holly and the Italians be merged into Holly Beth Vincent. The content of the Holly and the Italians article contains already a copy of content from the Holly Beth Vincent article. The band genesis, career and disbandment could easily be explained in the context of the Holly Beth Vincent article as a new section, whose size won't cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. Fishette's changes
[edit]I've gone through some of Fishette's edits, particularly this one [1], and found that in most cases she's right to have removed poorly sourced contentious material from a WP:BLP. I have re-applied some of these edits. I would urge her to point out inaccuracies here on the talk page. Ping me and I'll look in to them. Kendall-K1 (talk) 14:21, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
