I really think this, although quite amusing, constitutes a POV:

Belgium to this day still clings to a high tax policy that almost rivals that of France with its stupid, narrowminded, "dreaming of days of yore" like Jean de Florette, and practically incites widespread tax evasion.

The people are lovely, except for one old member of the Vlaam's Blok, who runs a corner shop and isn't even nice to white people.

Ok, this totally sounds made up:

"A local children's story says that the name "Hoboken" is derived from a little boy who accidentally dropped his sandwich in the Schelde river, which flows near Hoboken. In the local dialect of Dutch, a "boken" is a sandwich and "ho" is a way of shouting "stop", so he must have shouted "Ho, boken!!!"."

Seriously??? It's hilarious, but if it's going to stay, then it needs a citation. I for one ain't buying it, but then again I don't know much about Belgium. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.111.115.129 (talk) 20:07, 14 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

@Miyagawa: this article is pretty time. You reckon you could find a bit more detail on it and then add some of that to the lead? I'd feel more comfortable giving it a tick after that...cheers, Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 05:24, 11 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'll have a dig around. Miyagawa (talk) 18:50, 11 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
