Does anyone have "proof" the team was actually thinking of calling itself "twin cities twins". The team moved to minn late oct 1960 and announced the name late nov 1960. I have gone thru newspapers of that time and have never found anything suggesting they were considering the name. I have found stuff suggesting that Cal Griffith wanted to keep the nickname "Senators" even after the move. It may have just been a ploy to get money out ofthe new wash team. Also the team did not unveil their uniforms until late Jan 1961 two months after the name was announced. So i don't know that TC hat proves the "TC Twins"Smith03 (talk) 18:30, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
