History, again
[edit]Most likely it was Essex County, MA (Salem and its environs) where we first saw surveying as part of organizing a colony. County lines had to be established. Later in the 1630s, a crew was surveying the Merrimack River. jmswtlk (talk) 20:23, 1 July 2021 (UTC)
