[edit]This article gets right into the details. I can appreciate the importance of that. However, it would be useful to have a readable summary at the beginning. Why does this article exist?
[edit]IMO all "history of" articles should not exist. History should be in the article to which it pertains. I think sometimes folks break out history since the main article is, in someone's opinion, too long. Personally, I think splitting on history is a bad idea in every case. In this case it's particularly silly since both the main article, software configuration management, and this are less than long. Stevebroshar (talk) 18:45, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
