Why did they move
Given that Washington, D.C. is about to get a new baseball team (Expos), it would be useful to know why the original Senators team(s) left Washington.
Senators Farm Team
Was the Farm Team for the Senators located in Salem, VA? I seem to remember going there with my father, I think in the early 50's. Have a baseball signed that day by a pitcher by the name of Tommy Holmes.
Why wre there so many Washington Senators?? I have a baseball card of DickBillings of the Washington Senators, anyone know where I could find a good online priceguide? Jaberwocky6669 July 4, 2005 02:38 (UTC)
Nationals?
Does anyone really use the name "Washington Senators" as a nickname for the new Washington Nationals? I've never heard of it, and I live in the Washington area. Unless someone can provide some reference to support this, I intend to delete it from this page. --Russ Blau (talk) 14:23, 21 September 2005 (UTC)
