The Avalon Theater is still in operation
[edit]The article states: "On November 7, 2019, the Santa Catalina Island Company permanently shuttered the Casino Movie Theater."
This isn't true. It is no longer showing first-run features, but it is quite definitely still in operation. They have a website listing their current shows: https://www.theavalontheatre.com/ Ormewood (talk) 22:42, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
I edited the article to reflect this. The source originally cited, a Variety article, notes that the theater is still in operation, so I left it as it was. Ormewood (talk) 22:42, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
