I changed the first sentance, because it said it was the only capital of Brittany, which is not correct thru Briton history.
The cities of Vannes and Nantes were capitals of Brittany as well. Nantes has been the capital city for a longer time than Rennes.
Separate article...??? > Propose merge
[edit]Most seperate articles are larger than the section (of the same subject) in the main article. Like the history section in the main article of France and the article the History of France, but this one is smaller. Plus the main article is NOT large. Most seperate articles are created when the size of the main article reaches a certain size and the creation of new "break-out" articles are needed. This is not the care here. Propose that this article be merged. WikiDon 01:35, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
Split article
[edit]Material from Rennes was split to History of Rennes on 29 May 2017 from this version. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted so long as the latter page exists. Please leave this template in place to link the article histories and preserve this attribution. The former page's talk page can be accessed at Talk:Rennes. |
