Arts and culture
[edit]I noticed that this article lacked any reference to arts and culture, so I added a section about Portland's peak of cosmopolitan prominence 1800-1840. Though I decided to add it as an independent section between "Settlement" and "Trade and shipping center," it could just as easily be added into the "Trade and shipping center" section, especially if nobody is able to add more to fill out the new section.
Anybody else have thoughts about it? -Dugan Murphy (talk) 21:12, 12 August 2020 (UTC)
