Machine translation
[edit]Hey, someone put here a machine translation of the article from some other source (some other language version of Wikipedia, I guess). I reverted it back because it needs too much work, was more or less incomprehensible, and the current version is better than nothing. If someone is working on that translation, please do that in user space temporary page, it can then be integrated to this article. --wwwwolf (barks/growls) 18:24, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Leon IV Lusignan.jpeg
[edit]Image:Leon IV Lusignan.jpeg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The section regarding the 11-M bombings is very offensive
[edit]This article is very inaccurate, and it is not impartial at all regarding the 11-M bombings; not so few of us Spaniards believe the investigation of the bombings was manipulated; the trains were destroyed by order of the judge three days after the bombings before they could have been properly analysed, a van full of explosives appeared the day after when the recordings show no sign of it the day of the bombings and the scientific policemen in charge for the analyses supported the theory of ETA having bombed the trains until they were arrested for no reason and changed suddenly their oppinion, so I would suggest more impartiality when writing about such a painful part of our history; I myself lost a friend there and I do not think I belong to a "small percentage of the population", and El Mundo is the second most sold newspaper in Spain; for these reasons, I am going to edit that section so it is impartial with both the government(yes, the Partido Popular is not in the opposition anymore, they have absolute majority at the Parliament) and the people which believe the investigation wasn't so clean. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.61.77.4 (talk) 21:31, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
Other than military
[edit]This article seems over-focused on military history. Love to see material on economic and cultural matters as well. Lfstevens (talk) 19:19, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
- @Lfstevens: I've tried to bring some social history. Regards.--Asqueladd (talk) 22:14, 1 March 2021 (UTC)
