[edit]I don't think anyone ever refers to Huntington Park or South Gate as being part of "South Central", however I will give you that Lynwood, Compton and Inglewood often do get caught up in the mix. Still, I think a proper definition of the larger South Central would be everything between the 10 and the 105 or the 10 and El Segundo, including Athens-Westmont.
Orphaned references in Historic South Central Los Angeles
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Historic South Central Los Angeles's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

- From University Park, Los Angeles: [1] "South L.A.," Mapping L.A., Los Angeles Times
- From South Los Angeles: "South L.A.," Mapping L.A. website of the Los Angeles Times
- From Central-Alameda, Los Angeles: "South L.A.," Mapping L.A., Los Angeles Times
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 21:49, 26 May 2013 (UTC)
