Contested deletion, this is a notable article about a rare Japanese vehicle built for almost 10 years in Japan

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (it is a notable vehicle built by Hino Motors of Japan and contributed to the development of the Toyota Hilux, this article is presently being translated from the Japanese Wikipedia article, and more information will follow) --Regushee (talk) 04:44, 24 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • keep - This vehicle is not super exciting itself but its production kept Hino alive. It was also the basis of the very successful Toyota Hilux and the production of the Hilux further kept Hino alive until their trucks became profitable - as told by Eiji Toyota - CEO of Toyota during the Hino/Toyota merger. I'm adding what I can find but most of what I have is concerning the merger and the Briska's place in that merger. I have practically no details about the physical vehicle.  Stepho  talk  13:26, 24 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
