Need dab
We also need a disambiguation page. There is also: Hinge (sexuality) - a person who participates in a triad relationship by bringing their two partners together. -- See polyamory. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.191.80.234 (talk) 03:25, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
continuous hinges
Does anybody know when these were first produced????
Regarding Concealed Hinges: I Know: Hettich International from Germany First developed These Hinges in as early as 1949 with current form achieved by 1960s after years of research & experimentation. Hettich is by far world's best & largest Hinge & Sliding & Folding Systems manufacturer with over 18000 products in its range including lights, handles, locks, machines, kitchen & wardrobe systems, drawer channels etc.
History of the hinge
Need the history of the hinge. Badagnani (talk) 08:10, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
Pictures of hinges
The two hinges labeled cast iron hinges appear to be wrought iron and bronze strap, respectively. I will fix this. Joecycle (talk) 03:16, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
Deleted Link
Wtshymanski has deleted the link hhingedummy.info, which surpasses all of the wiki qualifications for a link. The link has been here for over a year and adds a wealth of information that this hinge page does not already contain. I posted a complaint on his talk page and he has now taken this link down because he has a personal vendetta against me. This is completely unprofessional behavior. Other editors should be looking into this!!!
List of information contained in the link: installation instructions for over 5 types of hinges, descriptions of 20 plus hinge types, hinge anatomy illustrations, comprehensive hinge glossary, hinge faq, euro hinge faq, hinge finishes, specialty hinges functions and uses descriptions, information on flush, overlay, and inset differences, and a brief history of the hinge. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.115.66.194 (talk) 14:24, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- Looks like spamming by 12.160.155.78 (talk · contribs) against a coi, followed by sockpuppetry (shared coi by all involved editors). --Ronz (talk) 20:42, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
How can someone be a spammer when they are only requesting that a link be reinstated? The link was on here for over a year and is quite qualified. Please, lets argue with facts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.115.66.194 (talk) 21:07, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
The link hingedummy.info is even more informative than the article Wiki has posted. I think by viewing the site you will clearly see that there is no reason for it to be removed. It is valuable information and people use it in such a manner. Actually look at the site please someone. The link had been up for over a year, why remove it in the first place? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.115.66.194 (talk) 20:23, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
TO RONZ: Actually view the site, stop just calling it spam. Your argument is very short sighted. You are only concerned about the possibility of someone spamming the page, when no attempt to spam the page is being made. We are trying to have an intelligent debate about whether the link qualifies or not by wiki's guidelines. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.115.66.194 (talk) 20:49, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
