The exact position
[edit]One of my face book friends have pointed out certain mistakes and I am reproducing the post. I would request the interested contributors to please update the position.
QUOTE Gangadhar Bhadani ji, I am surprised that Wikipedia can make a blunder of this kind. Hindumalkote is a border railway station in India (Sri Ganga Nagar District).
Here is the link from indiarailinfo.com, about the station:
http://indiarailinfo.com/arrivals/4045…
Yet, Wikipedia mentions that it is in Pakistan. Here's the link:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hindumalkote_railway_station [1]
The Station and its code HMK mentioned under alphabetical list of railway stations in Pakistan is also superfluous.
Since you are actively involved with Wikipedia, I thought you might take it up strongly with the proper channel to get this amended forthwith.
The accompanying station photo too would find the name of the railway station in Hindi and Punjabi. Please see the following link:
https://www.google.co.in/…/data=!3m8!1e2!3m6!1s-v8O4vYg-40A…
Lastly, the most surprising part is that Google too mentions the same way. Please see this link (Right side):
https://www.google.co.in/webhp…
I am not sure if the following link will indicate its location in Google map:

- Yes this railway station is actually under the Indian side so the information of this station is now changed. Feroze Ahmad 2 (talk) 19:24, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
