This album is not a Sly and the Family Stone Album, either by name or with participation by members. It is credited to Sly Stone, and is indeed a solo album. Sly's albums after this ones, which were indeed solo productions, may have been credited to Sly and the Family Stone, but their merit as band albums can be discussed on the pages for those albums.
