Requested move 18 February 2018
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: moved. No credible evidence that this is a proper noun. Aervanath (talk) 22:48, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
High Energy Biscuits → High energy biscuits – Capitalization not necessary per WP:NCCAPS; referred to without capitalization within article. Jc86035 (talk) 08:19, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
- Tentative Oppose, isn't this the proper name of the product? The image on the page shows that this product is made by a specific company. Will check back on this RM as it goes along, thanks. Randy Kryn (talk) 15:22, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
- According to the article: "procured by the World Food Programme" but they don't seem to use this capitalisation consistently. I think the product is made (or has been made) by more than one company. Peter James (talk) 20:17, 22 February 2018 (UTC)
- Here's an image which shows the product as a proper name. Randy Kryn (talk) 20:47, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
- Support Generally lower case in sources, and definitely not consistently capitalized as per WP:MOSCAPS. Maybe delivered etc by world food programme but more generally seems about type of biscuit. Galobtter (pingó mió) 09:33, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
- Support. I note that in the photo, the country of origin and the address of the manufacturer are both Bangladesh. Bizarre to suggest that they're the only manufacturer IMO, even to the UN! Possibly the original intent of the article was to be a particular brand or variety of HEB, but in that case I recommend rescoping the article to include for example the biscuits supplied as emergency rations in many if not all of the life rafts carried by offshore racing yachts, and the reasons these are considered suitable for the purpose. (I'll try to get a photo of the life raft biscuits.) Andrewa (talk) 20:26, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
- The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
