Location
[edit]@Total25: A reader wrote to Wikimedia and claims that the planned station is not going to be located actually in Forrestfield, but in High Wycombe. I looked at the source which makes reference to Forrestfield but doesn't actually say that the station will be physically located in that suburb.--S Philbrick(Talk) 14:15, 27 January 2017 (UTC)
It's at the corner of Maida Vale Rd and Dundas that's in High Wycombe http://forrestfieldairportlink.wa.gov.au/Portals/14/090220%20-%20Forrestfield%20precinct%20map.pdf Mitsuhama (talk) 13:17, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
Name Survery
[edit]A name survey is currently out. https://www.forrestfieldairportlink.wa.gov.au/news-resources/display-article/community-input-sought-on-name-of-metronet-station. The name could be changed to High Wycombe.
Mapframe
[edit]If anyone wants to pursue, "mapframe" is now integrated into {{infobox station}}. So the embedded template is no longer needed and may be replaced using
- |mapframe=yes
- |mapframe-zoom = 13
For example, see High Wycombe, England. ;-) --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 11:41, 18 November 2020 (UTC)

[edit]- The station is the eastern terminus of the Airport line, and was one of three stations built as part of the Forrestfield–Airport Link project. No comma needed... (User:Sammi Brie/Commas in sentences, CinS)
- at surface-level no need to hyphenate when not an adjective
- Its colour was chosen to mimic the red earthy colours of the nearby Darling Scarp and its shape was designed to mimic an aircraft wing ... But you need a comma after Scarp.
- In August 2016, SI-NRW began site investigations and a development application for early works and dive structure works was submitted to the Western Australian Planning Commission Add comma after investigations (CinS)
- By the end of 2016, construction had started on the diaphragm walls of the dive structure and the development application for the actual station was submitted. Add comma after structure
- The realigned road opened in August 2018 and the previous alignment between Maida Vale Road and Imperial Street was closed. Comma after 2018
- By August 2019, the stairs were in place and by September 2019, the station was 50 percent complete. Add comma after place
- Hyphenate "ground level" as an adjective, "ground-level car park"
- Works on the forecourt, including the bus interchange, were underway by August 2020 and by September 2020 More CinS
- Construction on the car park began in June 2020 and by March 2021, the structure was complete, with fit out works following that. Another comma (after 2020). Is "fit out" to be hyphenated?
Spot checks
[edit]- 7: PTA public art page.
At platform level, a 100m-long, 5.5m-high section of the retaining wall features a tessellated pattern of earthy red colours, reflecting the tones of the Darling Scarp.
Assuming the Jesmonite info is in the other ref, 8 (which is not loading for me).- That's not loading for me as well. Their Instagram page is not loading too, so maybe the website is offline for good. I set the ref to url-status=dead.
- 18: F–A Link website:
SI-NRW have begun their first package of work for the project with site investigations
- 22: Approval of early works application.
- 29: Establishment of site infrastructure works.
- 32:
A 400-tonne crawler crane is onsite to assist with assembly of the TBM.
- 33: News article on the moving of Grace. Kind of moving that they named it after a 5-year-old with leukemia!
- 52: Update mentions sheeting and substation construction.
- 61:
To meet demand for parking, a multi-level car park accommodating 1200 cars will be built on land bordered by Maida Vale Road and Ibis Place (see map overleaf). While the original plan was for an at-grade car park, the new design will improve access as passengers will now be able to park within 300m of the station’s entrance. This new design frees up approximately eight hectares of land for future development.
- 72: ABC News article checks out. Mentioning the sinkhole as a cause for the delay seems worth it, though!
