  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose quality:
Fix the awkward tags that I've added.
Do my changes fix the problems? As for the one "why" tag, that is actually a big question. Scheer said he thought the first time the fleets came together went well and wanted to make a second attack, to inflict further damage and to keep Jellicoe guessing. Many think he was covering his arse for making a terrible decision and simply didn't know where Jellicoe was. Parsecboy (talk) 18:49, 21 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
    B. MoS compliance for lead, layout, words to watch, fiction, and lists:
Sometimes state is missing or spelled out in the publisher locations. Please standardize.
    Fixed. Parsecboy (talk) 18:49, 21 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. References to sources:
    B. Citation of reliable sources where necessary:
    C. No original research:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
Explain a division is half a squadron.
    Added. Parsecboy (talk) 18:49, 21 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
    B. Focused:
Add the {{lang-de|}} template to German terminology. You use English language terminology except for Admiralstab.
Is that really necessary? I've seen it argued by several people at various FACs/ACRs (I know Ed dealt with this on one of his South American BBs) that the lang template was superfluous (i.e., anyone reading an article about a topic from country "y" can be reasonably trusted to assume the translation is from the language of country "y"). 4. Is it neutral?
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
  6. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are copyright tagged, and non-free images have fair use rationales:
    B. Images are provided where possible and appropriate, with suitable captions:
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:
