Hello, there is a mistake in the map of high speed corridors. The cities of Udaipur and Jodhpur are transposed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.226.106.148 (talk) 19:22, 19 April 2015 (UTC)
"Super-Fast"
Is this actual Indian Railways parlance? If not, the term might be inappropiate, although the article explains the speed capabilities of railways in India pretty well. NoisyJinx (talk) 09:46, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
- The original intention of this article was Bullet Train in India. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 08:57, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
- Ack. The intention is unquestionable, and the article certainly meets all criteria for inclusion. I was just wondering if this "super-fast" label is actually being used in India (or by Indian Railways as a product name). If not, imo it should be named differently in the article as the term per se might be misleading. NoisyJinx (talk) 11:08, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, the term is very widely used here in India for not just trains but buses as well. The 'super fast' services are priced higher.--117.206.18.160 (talk) 06:23, 27 June 2010 (UTC)

Acela Express of the United States of America?
Acela is not that fast. The old style track slows it down. I would not include it with real high speed rail. Geo8rge (talk) 01:57, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

Inaccurate info
Somebody needs to take a good look at some recent or not so recent changes (I haven't checked the history). I think, some of the information in the article (esp. about the standardization of the guages) is about metro and not the high-speed railway project. 117.233.119.58 (talk) 17:38, 18 August 2013 (UTC)
Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page
Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request its removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.
