[edit]This counts as original research, but I know of at least one modern case of HDC being used as a last-option treatment for a testicular cancer patient. I can find very little written about it, or about what other types of cancer it's potentially used for, but Dana Farber mentions it as a salvage regimen: http://www.dana-farber.org/Health-Library/Health-Library-Detail/Combination-and-High-Dose-Chemotherapy-for-Testicular-Cancer-Patients.aspx . — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.215.96.85 (talk) 17:07, 14 May 2015 (UTC)
