As far as I'm aware, "namesake" refers to another person who happens to have the same name (such as the US president, the US jazz trombonist and the US baseball player all called George Washington) - not (as here) to an institution that is deliberately named after a person.213.127.210.95 (talk) 15:22, 1 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
