Fair use rationale for Image:Hifly.gif

[edit]

Image:Hifly.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:41, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect Information

[edit]

Dear editors,

My name is Madalena Reis i'm Hi Fly's Marketing Assistant and I was asked to correct the information displayed on Wikipedia. The content of your history section is inaccurate and we would ask if you could change it. We have tried repetedly to edit it but it has remained the same version. Hi Fly was not founded as Air Luxor. Mirpuri Group sold Air Luxor and created Hi Fly. Both companies even operated at the same time completely unrelated.

I would be very thankful if you could edit or allow me to edit the article in order to sumbit the correct information. As you may know, it is very important for our company to display a correct image on a reputation website such as wikipedia.

Thank you very much, Madalena B. Reis — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mktasst (talkcontribs) 12:03, 12 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your comment, the history section doesnt have any reliable references so I have tagged it with a notice. It would help if you could provide references to the fact the Hi Fly was a new start airline, preferable from sources outside the company, thanks. MilborneOne (talk) 12:59, 12 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
While I understad the need of hi fly's marketing/PR department to distance themselves from Air Luxor, I've found several mentions of "Rebranding" online. For example: [1] and [2]. (Not sure if these are reputable sources, as I'm not a Editor). The CH-Aviation site [3] mentions that Air Luxor " is planning to rebrand itself as HiFly" in October 2005. 85.247.91.245 (talk) 17:41, 8 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
One more thing: If HiFly and Air Luxor don't have anything to do with each other (Except the fact that they were both owned by the Mirpuri family), why does the Air Luxor article [4] redirect to this article? 85.247.91.245 (talk) 17:49, 8 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed the redirect to avoid confusion. MilborneOne (talk) 19:26, 8 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. The Air Luxor article clears up a lot of the confusion. 85.247.80.54 (talk) 11:08, 18 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
