Hello! I'll be taking a look at this article for the January 2022 GAN backlog drive. If you haven't already signed up, please feel free to join in! Although QPQ is not required, if you're feeling generous, I also have a list of GA nominations of my own right here.

Infobox and lede

[edit]
  • "She wrote the song inspired by her harbored feelings" → "She was inspired to write the song by the feelings she harbored"
  • Specify in lede what tour they had gone on together
  • By this time Swift had yet to hold a headlining tour; they likely held small gigs at theaters
  • Pipe "Music critics" to Music journalism
  • "with some picking it"
  • "(2021)" → "in 2021" just so there aren't back-to-back parentheticals

Background and release

[edit]
  • ""Love and Theft"; Love and Theft is a country music duo" → ""Love and Theft", referencing a country music duo"; the link for the band, then, can go either in the quotes or around the phrase "a country music duo"
  • Again, specify the tour if possible
  • "Love and Theft's member" → "Love and Theft member"
  • "Hey Stephen", also subtitled "Taylor's Version"."

Live performances

[edit]
  • I usually spell setlist as one word, but I think it's a personal preference thing
  • "Swift midway" → "midway through the performance, Swift"
  • "Swift' set list" → "Swift's set list"
  • "During the September 18, 2018, concert in St. Louis, part of Swift's Reputation Stadium Tour," → "On September 18, 2018, during Swift's St. Louis performance on the Reputation Stadium Tour,"

Critical reception

[edit]
  • "Music scholar James E. Perone" can be shortened just to "Perone" since his full name and credentials were mentioned earlier
  • "Barnes also commented that the track"

Commercial performance

[edit]
  • "certified gold" should be linked here just as it is in the lede
  • "sales and streaming"

General comments

[edit]
  • Image used is properly tagged and obviously relevant since she's literally performing the song in question
  • No stability concerns in the revision history
  • Earwig score looks good, all direct quotes

Significantly easier to get through and review a song than Speak Now, huh! Thank you for taking up Jayson Werth; I know sports articles can be daunting for those who don't follow said sport. I've also been thinking of getting "No Body, No Crime" up to GAN myself soon, which would probably be a much easier review for you. In any case, putting on hold for now, ping me with questions and let me know when you're finished! — GhostRiver 22:34, 10 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Except where I responded,  Done all. Thank you for reviewing the article. The Jayson Werth is a rather long article, so please expect some delay in my GAN review. Should you take the "No Body, No Crime" article to GAN, feel free to leave me a message so I could review it (I have not checked out Swift's Evermore but it is a fine tune I suppose..). Thank you for making those changes! Passing now! — GhostRiver 00:38, 14 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
