Moved as proposed. bd2412 T 21:37, 23 January 2019 (UTC)
Hey Lawdy Mama (blues song) → Hey Lawdy Mama – I don't think Hey Lawdy Mama (Steppenwolf song) (redirect) satisfies WP:TWODABS here. © Tbhotch™ (en-2.5). 22:41, 13 January 2019 (UTC)

This will revert an undiscussed move.No other article needs the title. If necessary, add a hatnote or "See also" entry to this article. Station1 (talk) 05:09, 14 January 2019 (UTC) - Oppose this article has never been moved, all that happened is that someone blanked the 33-charting single by Steppenwolf which was the original baseline. Why should a charting single be blanked? Why not restore the status quo. Leave both songs with existing articles and recognizable titles. In ictu oculi (talk) 23:13, 14 January 2019 (UTC)
- From WP:NSONGS itself (rearrenged to make a logical sentence): "Note that having been ranked on national or significant chart indicates only that a song may be notable, not that it is notable. A standalone article about a song should have been the subject of multiple, non-trivial published works whose sources are independent of the artist and label. Coverage of a song in the context of an album review does not establish notability. If the only coverage of a song occurs in the context of reviews of the album on which it appears, that material should be contained in the album article and an independent article about the song should not be created." TL:DR, merely existing is not enough to justify an independent article. If you consider Steppenwolf's song to be notable rewrite the previous article to indicate why it needs an independent article and not a mere mention at Gold: Their Great Hits#Song information, which is already doing what Hey Lawdy Mama (Steppenwolf song) was saying. © Tbhotch™ (en-2.5). 23:41, 14 January 2019 (UTC)
- You're correct that this article has never been moved. I confused the history of the two articles. Station1 (talk) 20:36, 15 January 2019 (UTC)
- Support. Only topic with an article.--Cúchullain t/c 14:34, 22 January 2019 (UTC)
