This article refers to neuronal acetylcholine receptors, but the acetylcholine receptor article does not mention the existence of this type of receptor. Normally nAch refers to nicotinic acetylcholine receptor, so is that what this article should be referring to instead? --Ed (Edgar181) 15:53, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's actually referring to neuronal nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (as opposed to muscle nAChR s), see [1] or the Subunit section of the WP article. Fvasconcellos (t·c) 15:15, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hexamethonium is a Nicotinic blocker primarily, that happens to work in the ganglion rather than on effector organs; hence "nicotinic" needs to appear in the opening sentence. In other words, that it is neuronal is secondary to the fact that it antagonizes nicotinic neurotransmission.Dryphi (talk) 16:32, 18 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This article refers to the parasympathetic effects, specifically "blurry vision". What does this mean? Is this mydriasis and cycloplegia, as one would expect from a muscarinic antagonist? Or is there another mechanism of action behind this side effect?Dryphi (talk) 16:32, 18 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
