Italicized ship names in title of article
[edit]This help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can , contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse. |
I know that there's a way to italicize the name of an article, when the whole thing is italicized, like a book or a ship. In this case, the ship names, Hester and Luther Little, should be italicized, but "and" should not be! Can anyone help accomplish the proper result? Abandonment
[edit]I want to be clear that there is no evidence from the sources I have gone through that Frank Winter ever intentionally abandoned his ships. Here are what the sources have to say:
- "Maine at 200: An Anecdotal History Celebrating Two Centuries of Statehood" - no mention of abandonment.[1]
- "Titanic Nautical Society & Resource Center." - does not give a cause or timeline for abandonment [2]
- "Wiscasset Newspaper" - no mention of abandonment.[3]
- "HazeGray" - suggests the schooners were abandoned after Winter's death. [4]
- "Portland Press Herald" - suggests the schooners were abandoned after Winter's death. [5]
- "Maine Maritime Museum" - no mention of abandonment.[6]
The sources state Winter purchased the ships in 1932, his railroad business went defunct in 1934, and he died in 1936. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 02:19, 14 December 2021 (UTC)
