Godfather of Gore
[edit]should add a redirect to this page from "Godfather of Gore" -- but I don't know how to set this up.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.40.243.226 (talk • contribs) 2006-11-08T03:41:53
- There were two filmmakers referred to as the "Godfather of Gore," so I created a disambiguation page for this title. Folklore1 (talk) 23:03, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
Inaccurate claim re: Chicago film production
[edit]Under the section "Film Career" the article states: "Lewis served as producer on his first film venture, The Prime Time (1959), which was the first feature film produced in Chicago since the late 1910s." This is not accurate. A number of feature films were made/produced in Chicago between the 1910s and 1959. They include WITHIN OUR GATES (1920), CALL NORTHSIDE 777 (1948), CHICAGO DEADLINE (1949), THE CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS (1953), and I would think a handful more. 128.135.100.105 (talk) 19:05, 12 July 2014 (UTC) Nathan, July 12, 2014
Birth Date
[edit]According to FamilySearch and Peoplefinders, he was born 6/15/1926, and so died at age 90. 174.53.129.44 (talk) 12:26, 27 September 2016 (UTC)
According to IMDB he was born in 1929. Mzimmerle (talk) 21:47, 27 September 2016 (UTC)
Also according to a BBC article that was published today to announce his death, he was stated as having reached the age of 87. Mzimmerle (talk) 21:48, 27 September 2016 (UTC)
