[edit]WHO EVER WROTE THIS NOTE IS MOST CERTAINLY NOT NAMIBIA and/or THEY REPRESENT THE OLD APARTHEID REGIME. Yes true there were alot of issues surrounding its erection but after 21 years of independance this this has become a symbol of our freedom and national pride. Also the many heroes ranging from HENDRIK WITBOOI, HOSEA KUTAKO, KING MANDUME etc. etc. gives the place a significance and honour which makes every Namibian bow there heads in reverance and respect as their inner being wells up with pride.

- Please refrain from personal attacks. The construction issues are well referenced. If you feel that the importance of this memorial has been understated feel free to add more content. --Pgallert (talk) 10:42, 19 July 2012 (UTC)

Where?
[edit]If it is in another town or defined area that should be included rather than just stating its distance from Windhoek. --Daniel C. Boyer (talk) 19:16, 22 January 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Daniel C. Boyer, and thanks for the heads-up. Heroes' Acre almost touches the southernmost suburbs due to Windhoek's growth. Does this clarification alleviate your concerns? --Pgallert (talk) 18:50, 23 January 2017 (UTC)
