"Personal life" section
[edit]The ending phrase of the third sentence ---"just years before the United States would enter the Second World War" - - - has two things going against it.
First, the use of "years" is not correct. The word used all by itself indicates a period of three or more years. However, since the marriage happened sometime in 1940 and the US entered the war in December 1941, the time difference would be less than two years.
Second, the phrase is not needed at all. The way it is written indicates that somewhere in the section the reader is going to read something about how WWII effected the couple &/or their marriage &/or their family. This never happens since the war is never mentioned again. Either something about how the war effected them should be added, or, the phrase needs to be removed entirely (which would take care of the first 'point').
Just an observation. 2600:8800:785:1300:C23F:D5FF:FEC4:D51D (talk) 06:49, 10 May 2018 (UTC)
