Talk:Herigone's mnemonic system
arrow is only 4 NOT 44
[edit]In the practice section it mentions that "arrow" can be used to memorize the number 44, however this system is based on sounds NOT letters. Therefore since there is only one "r" sound in the word "arrow" then it translates to 4. A better example would be "Warrior." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.111.39.24 (talk) 19:28, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
No mention of mnemonical peg systems? That's what this is. There should be a See Also link to mnemonics.
Merge
[edit]This seems to be exactly the same system as described in Mnemonic major system, but with a different history. Populus (talk) 06:21, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- Merge These two articles are about the same exact system.JeffStickney (talk) 22:14, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
I wrote this page and am happy for it to be merged/deleted in the interests of excluding redundant information. Cheers! Andrew F. (talk) 16:55, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
- Merge. The Mnemonic major system has a confused, un-referenced history. And the table isn't a pretty as table here. This article would be the better candidate to keep. --Whoosit (talk) 21:00, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
