I removed the sentence regarding urban sprawl, but this seems more like a tourism board's description than an encyclopedia entry, especially the last sentence regarding white tail deer and driver error and police. Perhaps someone with some historical resources regarding Northern Baltimore County would be able to add some depth to this article. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.33.4.62 (talk • contribs) .
Elevation
[edit]I marked a section in the article, Because of its higher elevation, the climate of The Hereford Zone is slightly different than that of the rest of the county. with a {{Fact}} tage, it just does not seem correct. While the elevation is higher, it's not that incredebely higher where it would factor into the climate to the effect that the climate is different. More i see it being that it is removed from urban development, see urban heat island, and it's distance from the bay which plays a major role in the climae in the baltimore region. --Boothy443 | trácht ar 05:47, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
Name?
[edit]Should this be at Hereford, Maryland, or is that a separate place? --NE2 09:30, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
Hereford, the unincorporated town, lies within the Hereford Zone– an unofficial designated area which is a collection of the unincorporated towns of northern Baltimore County. This page is about the Hereford Zone, not Hereford itself though it seems to be turning that way.--Psf11 (talk) 11:35, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
I'm afraid this article is turning into a fan page for Hereford High School when in fact, it's not even supposed to be about Hereford per se. Can't someone come up with some history or area map or something apropos? --Psf11 (talk) 11:38, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
