Having read the article there are some stylistic points in terms of tone of language in some parts of the article for example "a foul the Newcastle centre half did not appreciate." However by and large from the perspective of someone slightly interested in soccer but would not consider themselves a "football fan", and not connected to Hereford, the article was informative about an event that is reasonably well known about in the UK. It is very well known about in "Football Culture" and well known about in British Sporting Culture, and there is reasonably awareness in wider popular/ social culture in the UK. It's clearly not an event of international significance, but it's certainly not an event that is only well known about by Hereford United Fans. Does every FA Cup upset deserve a page in Wikipedia? Clearly not, but Hereford United v Newcastle United clearly does. The article does need improvements, but what is there is a good start. 91.84.189.190 (talk) 23:45, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
