prototype for massive x-ray binaries?
[edit]I'm a little surprised the entry considers Her X-1 a prototype for massive X-ray binaries. Usually in those systems the accretion is mainly powered through capture of the stellar wind. Although an accretion disk and Roche lobe overflow may be present, the normal star is typically an OB star.
