A little known fact is that Corydoras narcissus got his name because the ichthyologists Nijssen and Isbrücker wanted to thank, among others, Dr. Axelrod for the many suggestions for names for the new species that they were describing.... Health issues

I've just removed this totally unsourced section as a result of an OTRS request. Really, those who reverted the unsourced material back in should know better. Kevin (talk) 02:11, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No one previously said anything about OTRS. The section had been there for years, and the deletions appeared to be just disruptive editing. --Tryptofish (talk) 19:42, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

They look alike..same last name. Whats the tie? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:642:4101:4167:40AE:1F73:64E6:AD1 (talk) 21:54, 22 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It's not obvious that they are closely related, and we would need to be able to cite a source to say that they are. Looking at the birth places, relative ages, and parents as listed on each page, my guess is they just share a last name and are of similar family backgrounds. --Tryptofish (talk) 00:17, 23 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
