The DNB gives 3s. a day while shilling says the coin comes much later and at the time calls it a unit of account generally equal to a sheep... Can anyone see what the original source (Magna Vita S. Hugonis, pp. 248–9) said or know what it would have been? (36 pence?) — LlywelynII 14:42, 3 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
