POV (point of view) material
[edit]I removed this text from the article, as it is strongly point-of-view (see WP:NPOV). If it is to be replaced, please reword it in a neutral point of view (NPOV), and reference it. The stronger and more dubious the assertion, the greater the referencing which is required. Was it him who asserted that LGT was developed by Miller and White? Please state which party claims this. However, it is not neutral to claim outrightly that proto-LGT is present in Miller and White. Please also find citations for his editorials in favour of LGT in the Review and Herald (they should be available online).
"Douglass, in connection with other church leaders, was a key figure in the 1970s, recapitulating the Last Generation Theology (LGT) developed in William Miller, Ellen White, and M. L. Andreasen. Through the main denominational journal, his editorials issued forth in advocacy of LGT."

- The statement that he wrote articles in the Review in the 1970s supporting LGT is probably true. The archives are online. See links I added from the Adventist Review article. Colin MacLaurin 05:37, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
