My name is Jay Bacon. I have some information about what became Hepatitis Bathtub. NOFX actually camped in my back yard next to my mini ramp after playing a show in Omaha at the fireman's hall on 60th and Grover.. The had a couple days before the next show. My band Cordial Spew opened for them on that show. So Mike asked me if I knew of a spot to record stuff they were messing around with. I called Dereck Higgins to ask him if would be willing to do it and he accepted like the cool guy he is.. I took the band to Derecks house and watched them rip through about a dozen songs in a row. I still have a copy of that entire recording. Fast forward 20 years and Dereck gives me another copy of the NOFX recording and I put it in the hands of a guy named Phoenix Frank who gets it to Mike. Shortly thereafter the world gets hepatitis bathtub. Only a handful of the original recording songs are on there but it was great to have a hand in making that happen.
