Its nice and swell to talk about Centers and Awards, but what happened really, what was the core of what Viscardi did? 1952 he started a small factory, employing solely persons with disabilities whom didnt got job on open marked. The main qualification was, they should come to job by their own resources. So even the blind and deaf young black woman whom got to take busses. It was no charity, the factory should be commercially sound... And they succeed. These disabled persons, lame, blind, paralysed, managed to make a commerciably production, and the factory grew, got 300 employed coworkers, and got outputs as well; schools and this Center....
So the lesson isnt just there is a Center and Awards, but the lesson is; even seemingly gravely disabled persons can often work, can produce, be useufl. If they want much enough. With just a little help with organisation and good will by the chefs and co-workers... This is the Lesson. Which isnt visible in the Wikipedia article as its now, even if the main book: Give us the tools, is mentioned./StefanZ, Sweden.90.231.255.39 (talk) 21:54, 19 March 2020 (UTC)/StefanZ[reply]
