[edit]So the customers of this company were the lace producers in the north east mostly textiles was a very polluting business due to the dying process and we’re run out of the north east due to labor costs and environmental concerns. The wealthy owners would find well connected Southerners to run their mills for them. A more in-depth coverage of the historical roots of the growth of textiles in the Carolinas should be included Wikipietime (talk) 11:18, 23 June 2019 (UTC)
