This article appears to have been written based on company sources, and then post hoc sourced, in very small part, from third party sources. Given the appearance of this company in breaking news, the article needs attention so that biased information or misinformation is not propagated as media draws from this article for their background. 2601:246:CA80:3CB5:9542:D0FE:7BCE:81FC (talk) 00:10, 16 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Per the article history, this article was written and its images all uploaded in 2014 by editor Sverige3, and this is his sole contribution to the encyclopedia, and no user page exists for the editor. Hence, given the content as created by this editor (almost entirely unsupported by citation, and all company-supportive material), there is significant cause to believe this editor's work constitutes a COI issue. Otherwise, note, the article was moved from creation space to article space by an editor that is now banned at WP. So, I am placing one tag, but the article should, in this retired editor's opinion, be redacted by a registered editor so the COI issue is removed (by cutting the article back just to content clearly supported by third-party published work. 2601:246:CA80:3CB5:9542:D0FE:7BCE:81FC (talk) 00:31, 16 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think removing the images was wise or necessary. Most of them are either over 100 years old and so public domain at this point and/or they are images from US government sources. --Hfarmer (talk) 06:38, 16 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The images which all date to before 1924 have been restored since images older than that are in the public domain and not copyrighted. The Pratt company logo probably is copyrighted. This is knowable not only from the dates given on the images but from a knowledge of Chicago history. Things like ... taking partin the reversing of the rivers flow direction and raising the street level all happeend VERY early in the 20th century LONG before 1924. (1924 was Al Capone times the events in those images predate him by at least 20 or 30 years.) --Hfarmer (talk) 06:47, 16 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
