[edit]You can't use IMDB as a 3rd party source. A single link to a page, or to use to be "informative" is fine, but they fail wp:rs as an independent source. TMC.com likely fails wp:rs as well, but is fine as an external link. Although the tags are removed, all the issues really haven't been resolved. DENNIS BROWN (T) (C) 17:40, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
- Per the discussion at Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard#IMDb, IMDb is generally accepted as a source for simple facts, such as the existence of a film or the involvement of particular people in that film. It should not be used as a source for factual content about biographies, but in this article, it is only being used to verify the filmography. I agree that the facts of Lynn's life need sourcing, and I'll add the proper notation for that.WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:59, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
