[edit]in the article it states that he was married in 1897. At the end of the article it says he was not married and had no children. I'm asuming that his wife died or left him at some point but that is not in the article.
Problem with lede
[edit]"He was the only British artillery officer to command an army in the war" is not in the body of the article, so uncited. And wrong, of course. See George Milne, 1st Baron Milne commander of the British Salonika Army. Hamish59 (talk) 23:14, 12 January 2016 (UTC)

Personal life
[edit]There are a number of statements made concerning his marriage to Kate McCorquodale (1860-1947 - formerly married to Willam James Sinclair Blacklock d.1987) and his only child that are notated as [citation needed]. I can attest to the wording of the section as I am the grandchild of Kitten, Lord Horne's daughter. A full family tree was produced by the McCorquodale family in 1995 and reference to this has been made. 185.108.105.241 (talk) 08:17, 1 May 2023 (UTC)
