Colliery shift
[edit]I would love the story about the colliery shift to be true but as Henry Hall broadcast at 5.15pm that can't coincide with a shift beginning at 6.00pm. The link to the reference appears broken so I can't resolve this apparent discrepancy. Can anyone else? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Exumbra (talk • contribs) 22:46, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- The colliery is obviously incorrect in some way. Hall's broadcasts as leader of the BBCDO began - as stated in the entry and as per his opening catchphrase - at 5.15pm. Some reference, explanation or correction is needed here. E.g. Perhaps the shift in fact ended when his programme did? Exumbra (talk) 20:51, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
