Lieutenant Commander?
[edit]The article states that he was "promoted Lieutenant Commander" in 1866 - but the rank was not created until 1914! I suggest that he was the "Lieuenant in Command" of HMS Heron. Shem (talk) 22:56, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
