Query about the cause of death

Dates of birth and death

Why was his date of birth/death changed from June 20th 1941 - December 2nd 2007 originally to January 30th 1949 - November 2nd 2007? Where do the latter dates come from? There is a photograph of his tombstone on the internet which confirms the original dates that were previously in the article, which you can see here: https://www.graves-at-eggsa.org/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=3021611&g2_serialNumber=7
