I have made major edits to this entry, using information from a recent biography (Priestley, 2011) and with input from the author of this biography. The birth year was incorrect, and the claim of marriage at 14 years also seems incorrect. I have also added a photo, citations to references, a link to Dugdale's "A Few Hours in a Far Off Age", links to Wikipedia articles that refer to her, and some external links. I suggest that the class is no longer a Stub, and that the importance is not "low", although being new to Wikipedia, I'm not sure of the meaning of these terms. Dugdale was a major force in women's suffrage in Australia, and so she is internationally important because Australia was the first country to allow women to run for parliament.
